Figure AI continues to showcase the agility of its humanoid robot through various demonstrations. In a recent video shared by the founder, employees are seen jogging alongside the robot. Thanks to their ability to automate a variety of tasks both in factories and homes, humanoid robots are among the most promising markets in the tech sector. Figure is positioned as a potential leader in this market. Brett Adcock, the founder of this startup, frequently posts videos highlighting the advancements of their humanoid robot. Recently, he posted a video showcasing the robot’s agility in running, titling it as “Announcing a new fitness program at Figure”. The video features a group of employees jogging with the robot.
The humanoid robot by Figure is not only becoming more agile but also increasingly intelligent. In 2025, the robot garnered attention through videos demonstrating its ability to perform new household tasks it had learned. Recently, Brett Adcock also introduced an inductive charging system that allows the robot to recharge by simply standing on a platform. The year 2026 could be pivotal for the development of humanoid robots. In a social media post, the Figure founder predicts that humanoid robots will perform unsupervised tasks over several days in unfamiliar homes, guided solely by neural networks.
Interestingly, one of Figure’s competitors, 1X, plans to launch its robot Neo this year. While most competitors focus on industrial applications, 1X has chosen to target domestic use. Currently, humanoid robots represent a small market. According to Omdia figures cited by Forbes, around 13,317 units were shipped in 2025. However, these shipments are expected to almost double each year, reaching 2.6 million units by 2035.
