At the event, UBTECH unveiled its UWORLD U1 Series of full-size ultra-bionic humanoid robots, designed for mass production and consumer adoption. The lineup includes the U1 Lite semi-torso edition, the U1 Pro full-body version, and the U1 Ultra high-dynamic full-body model, priced from 119,800 RMB. By the launch day, UBTECH had received over 10,000 orders for the UWORLD U1 Series.

The two-decade roadmap for growth included the development of core technologies in the first phase (2012-2022) and expansion into consumer robotics in the second phase (2023-2033). With a strong focus on human-robot companionship, UBTECH aims to make humanoid robots a part of daily life by providing emotional support and companionship throughout different life stages.
The introduction of UWORLD marked a shift towards consumer applications, complementing the company’s industrial robotics business. The UWORLD U1 Series boasts advanced technologies such as biomimetic skin, emotion-driven language models, and a sophisticated expression actuation system, making it capable of replicating human movements and responding to emotions with high accuracy. The robots are designed to offer companionship, emotional support, and assistance in various sectors including elder care, tourism, and education.
During the event, UBTECH also launched the “Human-Robot Companionship Initiative,” aiming to support mental well-being programs by donating 100 customized U1 Series humanoid robots in 2026. These robots are tailored to provide emotional companionship and psychological support to vulnerable groups like children growing up apart from their parents, older adults living alone, and families in challenging circumstances. The robots feature advanced technologies such as 3D facial reconstruction and emotion-driven interaction models to enhance their supportive capabilities.
