Tesla showcased a humanoid robot prototype named Optimus, also known as Tesla Bot, at its annual AI Day. Initially presented as a concept at the 2021 AI Day, this year’s edition featured a more comprehensive seven-minute demonstration of Optimus. During this showcase, the Optimus prototype was able to walk and wave to the audience. Additionally, Tesla shared a video demonstrating Optimus performing tasks such as watering plants, carrying boxes, and executing other functions it was designed for.
