Xiaomi recently celebrated significant achievements in the realm of robotics, introducing two new tasks to their robots within a factory setting. These robots have excelled in sorting and recycling operations, boasting an impressive 90 percent success rate in both tasks. The company has further showcased advancements by deploying humanoid robots in an automotive production line, where they nearly mimic human performance levels after continuous enhancements over four months.

The humanoid robot’s prowess is evident in its success rate of 98 percent at a self-tapping nut loading station, bringing it within one percentage point of human workers’ performance levels. Xiaomi has extended the robot’s capabilities by assigning it new manufacturing tasks, such as center console side panel sorting and parts bin folding and recycling, all achieved with a commendable 90 percent success rate. Notably, the robot has successfully managed the handling of flexible workpieces in an automotive factory, marking a significant milestone in robotic applications.

In a similar vein, Figure and AgiBot, two leading robotics firms, have embraced extended livestreams as a tool to demonstrate the capabilities and reliability of their humanoid robots in real manufacturing settings. These livestreams offer transparent insights into the robots’ performance during continuous factory operations, showcasing their autonomy and adaptability to dynamic environments. Figure’s humanoid robot, Figure 02, has demonstrated efficient logistics and warehouse operations over a 20-hour continuous stream, emphasizing consistent autonomous performance and long-term reliability as crucial elements for commercial deployment.

AgiBot has also made waves with their humanoid robots, showcasing their prowess in various manufacturing environments through large-scale factory livestreams. Notably, their G2 humanoid completed an impressive 64,828 manufacturing tasks over 64 consecutive hours on a tablet production line, boasting an overall task success rate of 99.99 percent. The company continues to push boundaries with their robots, achieving notable success rates in critical assembly tasks post a four-month optimization period, further solidifying their position in the robotics industry.
