Production Acceleration of Humanoid Robot F.03 at BotQ Facility Signaled by Figure AI Video

Figure AI recently shared a pivotal update on the production ramp of its third-generation humanoid robot, the F.03, at the BotQ facility. Uploaded on April 29, 2026, the video runs for approximately 2 minutes and 53 seconds, showcasing the remarkable industrial advancements made by the company. In just 120 days, Figure has increased its production by a staggering 24 times, transitioning from 1 robot per day to 1 robot per hour. This exponential growth underscores the maturity of their manufacturing process, evolving from artisanal prototypes to an automated and scalable production line.

Established in 2022 by Brett Adcock and headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, Figure AI has positioned itself as a frontrunner in AI robotics, focusing on developing commercially viable autonomous humanoids. BotQ serves as Figure’s dedicated manufacturing plant, designed for high volumes independent of external suppliers, ensuring quality control and swift iterations. This week, the company is set to produce 55 F.03 robots, reaffirming their goal of 12,000 units annually on the front line, with a target of 100,000 robots within four years.

The transition to processes like die-casting, injection molding, and stamping has significantly reduced unit costs, making the F.03 ready for global scalability. Redesigned from scratch for Helix, Figure’s vision-language-action model, the F.03 integrates perception, reasoning, and control into a single general-purpose brain. With a softer, textured design, 20 degrees of dexterous hands, and an integrated battery in the torso with a 94% increased energy density compared to previous generations, the robot is optimized for household tasks like dishwashing or cleaning.

Figure aims to bring these humanoids into every home, expanding human capabilities through advanced AI and mass production. Leveraging high-speed data offload, fleets of F.03 robots can upload terabytes for continuous learning, revolutionizing factories and residences. The video not only serves as an announcement but also as a showcase of Figure’s progress towards serial production, highlighting their commitment to internal supply chains and hardware innovation.

Released during an acceleration in manufacturing, the video solidifies Figure’s position in the competitive robotics landscape, with a focus on safety, cost-effectiveness, and real autonomy. This milestone at BotQ signifies that humanoid robots are no longer just laboratory prototypes but products ready for massive deployment. Figure AI is reshaping the robotics industry, aiming for versatile humanoids in homes and factories in the coming years.
