Recently, at CES 2026, Realbotix showcased a groundbreaking demonstration involving AI humanoid robots. Aria and David, two physical humanoid robots, engaged in a fully autonomous, unscripted conversation for over two hours powered entirely by embedded AI. This demonstration exemplified “physical AI,” showcasing real-time interaction between two robots without pre-programmed dialogue.
Throughout the demonstration, Aria and David conversed in multiple languages, demonstrating the multilingual capabilities of their language models. While the robots showed limitations in their visual and expressive delivery compared to other humanoid robots, the emphasis was on their autonomous and unscripted interaction.
In a separate demonstration, a third humanoid robot displayed Realbotix’s patented vision system, showcasing the robot’s ability to interact with attendees, track individuals visually, and interpret emotional cues for fluid social interaction.
Realbotix’s robots are designed for entertainment, customer service, and companionship, incorporating lifelike expressions, motion, vision, and social engagement. By showcasing their technology openly at CES 2026, Realbotix offered a transparent view of the current capabilities of their conversational AI systems to industry experts, investors, and the media.
