Xiaomi has clarified that the recent news about the mass production of “CyberOne humanoid robots” is inaccurate. Contrary to reports claiming the production of Xiaomi’s robot CyberOne on the Yizhuang production line, with plans to announce mass production progress in March-April, open for visits in April-May, and conduct PR campaigns later in the year, Xiaomi personnel have denied these assertions. CyberOne, introduced as Xiaomi’s first full-size humanoid bionic robot in August 2022, stands 177cm tall, weighing 52kg, and is known by its stage name ‘Tie Da’.
Xiaomi explained that ‘Tie Da’ features advanced technologies enabling it to recognize 45 human semantic emotions and differentiate 85 environmental semantics. The robot incorporates Xiaomi’s proprietary full-body control algorithm, enabling coordinated movements across 21 joints. It is equipped with Xiaomi’s Mi Sense visual spatial system for three-dimensional real-world reconstruction and boasts five joint drives with a peak torque of 300Nm. The intelligence and mechanical capabilities of CyberOne have been developed in-house by Xiaomi Robot Lab through extensive software, hardware, and algorithmic efforts.
